The Resort Rabbits:

A part of the landscape!

Today, the rabbits you see hopping around the grounds, munching on grass are descended from domestic rabbits, though they are feral.

Please use caution if you try to approach them!  Bunnies do have very sharp claws and teeth!

Keep pets on a leash at all times!

April showers bring may flowers...and a new generation of Resort bunnies!

But, why are they here?

Several years ago, a local resident who lived just down the street from the Resort kept domestic rabbits as pets.  He let them roam free on his property and within a couple of years, they made their way to the Resort.

With few predators, ample food, and the shelter of many buildings, the rabbits found an ideal habitat to call home!
